Rosen Graphica

Get kids excited about reading! Rosen Graphica motivates reluctant readers, builds reading confidence, and improves literacy skills through graphic nonfiction collections. Our subjects are curriculum-correlated and high-interest, and our illustrations are safe and age-appropriate.

Each of our Graphic Nonfiction sets provides a wide-ranging selection of colorful, captivating books, which include standard nonfiction text features such as glossaries, indexes, timelines, fact sheets, and "for further research" sections.

All collections include the Graphic Nonfiction Overview developed by literacy experts Terry Thompson and Rebecca Carranza. The Overview is an resource on how to use this exciting format to teach reading comprehension and to build vocabulary and critical thinking skills.

As this format provides strong image-to-text correlation, it's perfect for struggling and reluctant readers and ESL students. Second language learners can rely on the intricate image/text interplay and gain instant insight about many idiomatic expressions.
